Ink began as a collaboration project in Fall 2015 with University of Maryland College Park PhD in Music candidate Quinn Dizon. After a few months of working closely together, Quinn composed music for this piece. It is also a movement research project combining Chinese Classical Dance technique and Modern Dance technique. This piece was developed in the early stage of my ongoing research process, leading into my MFA thesis research. The outcome of my research, my MFA Dance Concert will be presented in March 2018 at the Clarice Smith Center for the Performing Arts.
